Convergência nos media: aprendizagem individual com recurso aos materiais digitais de PLE
Abstract
Digital materials are a learning environment that provides exciting teaching possibilities, which combine information and communication technologies with rich media characteristics, individualisation and interaction. In the era of media convergence, an effective combination in communication between traditional media, such as print, radio, television, etc., and new media, such as mobile phone, internet, etc. has brought diverse teaching materials to language teaching and changes in teaching-learning and assessment modes. The present work considered innovative ways for individual and autonomous learning through the analysis of characteristics of digital materials of Foreign Language (FL) and the media convergence, proposing the self-adaptation learning to satisfy the adapted needs through different platforms. A questionnaire survey was carried out, combining the idea of self-adaptation based on media convergence, in the case of Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PFL), creating a framework for self-adapted learning, according to the results and analysis of the questionnaire.
