Imaginar, escrever e aprender com a máquina: criatividade e repetição na aula de português língua estrangeira
Abstract
The practice of creative writing in the context of teaching/learning a foreign language allies the effectiveness in the consolidation of information that comes from the intrinsic recursiveness of the act of writing to the exercise of creativity and autonomy. As a form of digital creative writing, interactive fiction, both parser-based and hyperfiction, presents distinctive features in relation to printed fiction. One the one hand, it allows the design of a creative learning environment and the exploration of a new form of narrative writing. On the other hand, it develops a FL learning environment where creativity and repetition interlace to promote a linked use of language. In this context, interactive fiction makes it possible to work at micro and macrostructures, is suitable for both intermediate and advanced learners and encourages peer collaboration. Finally, because of its repetitive nature, interactive fiction intrinsically enables revision and consolidation practices for language learning.
